Editor-in-chief, Agron Bajrami, argues that for Kosovo citizens the real news from Wednesday was not the decision in favor of the special court because this was more or less expected. “The real news was that they [Kosovo citizens] witnessed the inability of the political class to govern the state, the same class that makes difficult decisions not by arguing that they are for the good of the country, but by saying that they are being imposed from outside. What should an ordinary citizen think about the prime minister and the government when they justify their actions with lack of sovereignty in the decision-making process? What should citizens think about these politicians who are used to avoiding responsibility for the country, by finding excuses in pressure from international friends, starting with the six-point plan of Ban Ki-moon to dialogue with Serbia and the imposed footnote for Kosovo. There are no winners in a story like this. A state without leaders is not a state. However, the people cannot remain hostages of a political class that resembles a historical accident.”
