Prime Minister Hashim Thaci said in the meeting of the Kosovo Government that the opinion of the constitutional Court on the legality of the process of forming new institutions will clarify the political situation in Kosovo.
Thaci called on all parties involved in the election process to wait for the opinion of the Constitutional Court and then take decisions.
“I wish to stress that the entire process following 8 June elections is moving towards implementation in accordance to the Kosovo Constitution and laws. Now that we have the opinion of the Constitutional Court requested by President Jahjaga, we saw other actions which are also being reviewed in the Court”, said Thaci.
“I think this is a completely normal, transparent, general process and within the scope of democracy’s development. At the same time I urge everyone to demonstrate patience, understanding and faith in Kosovo’s independent institutions”.
