SRSG’s message on the occasion of Fitr Bajram (Eid-al-Fitr)
PRISTINA – Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Kosovo Farid Zarif issued the following message on the occasion of Fitr Bajram:
“On behalf of UNMIK, I would like to extend my wishes to all on the upcoming holiday of Fitr Bajram, which commemorates the end of the month of Ramazan.
“Fitr Bajram is a time of solidarity, generosity and sharing with family and friends, marked by acts of charity toward the less fortunate.
“I hope the spirit of this holiday will strengthen the ties of friendship, peace and reconciliation amongst people of all faiths in Kosovo. To all those of the Muslim faith my best wishes for Fitr Bajram. Me fat Bajrami!”
