The Democratic Party of Kosovo and coalition block of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), and the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA), supported by Vetevendosje Movement, will present their arguments and counter-arguments at the Constitutional Court tomorrow. The hearing session was called based on the appeal of the PDK on the manner of the election of the Assembly Speaker at the Assembly’s constitutive session on 17 July.

Based on this request, the Constitutional Court suspended Isa Mustafa, the leader of the LDK, from the post of the Assembly Speaker until the reach of the final decision.

PDK has appointed Arsim Bajrami, Professor of the Constitutional Right, to represent them at the court, LDK-AAK-NISMA coalition appointed Vjosa Osmani, while Vetevendosje will be represented by deputy Albulena Haxhiu and Vetevendosje’s legal adviser, Armend Shkoza.
