Some 350 American soldiers will begin next month cooperation with Kosovo police and the EU in areas where Serbs make majority, report Pristina media.
According to the media, American soldiers will not be the ones to first respond in the event of any crisis.
– We simply support them (Kosovo and the EU) and we are working on an environment in which Kosovo people are safe – said the commander of the unit Col. Clint Baker.
Before arriving to Kosovo, where they will be accommodated in two camps, this unit of American soldiers will initially be in Germany.
