According to Halil Matoshi, the entire battle to block the institutions of Kosovo was initiated “One beautiful summer day” by Hashim Thaci when he saw the that the Parliament majority, induced by his bad governance, deceptions and humiliations, was on the other side. According to Matoshi, if Arsim Bajrami gained power at the Parliaments, then Thaci would lose power.
“So, the alpha and omega of this conspiracy, elaborated by SHIK, was delay and negligence of the session with the hope that the coalition block would break with time. When they realized that their aggressive statements are only making the coalition block stronger, PDK passed to Plan B, which seems that it is going to work with the blessing of the President: announce extraordinary elections.
Despite Haradinaj’s message to the President that she can decide only for herself but she cannot make 64 deputies go for new elections and despite the support of the population for the coalition block, more with the aim to free Kosovo from Thaci’s kleptocracy, Kosovo citizens have not convinced themselves yet that it is the time and worth of the cause to use the street pressure.
In the meantime, controversial information about disagreements within the coalition block on whether to participate in the extraordinary elections is being spread. Some even claim that coalition block would boycott elections in order to save their unity. Boycott would have been the worst solution that could happen to Kosovo, this would mean that opposition parties are laying the red carpet to a terrible autocracy of PDK and Thaci,” concludes Matoshi.
