The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hashim Thaci, met in Brussels with EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.
After the meeting, Thaci said that the first step of signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) will happen soon, and that Kosovo and EU have agreed on the SAA text. “This development marks the first formal link between the EU and Kosovo,” said Thaci. Thaci and Hahn also discussed the continuation of Pristina – Belgrade dialogue, and possible projects to support Kosovo.
