The front-page editorial of this daily writes that after almost half a year of political blockade, and bargaining of the political leaders, the two biggest political parties decided to unite in a coalition. This paper stresses that despite the fact that both parties signed an agreement not to engage individuals that are suspected or investigated by justice bodies in the new government, they have recycled more than half of the cabinet with consumed political figures.

Nevertheless, notes this daily, the population of Kosovo welcomed the agreement and it remains for the new government is obliged to dismiss any official that involved in corruption affairs or any other criminal activity. Interference of politics in justice has impeded investigation of many scandals in the past. Despite the published statistics where the prosecution tries to show results on prosecuting crime, there are dozens of sensitive cases that have disappeared from the drawers of the prosecution in attempt to amnesty corrupted officials.

“Big political parties in Kosovo have continuously reached compromises when “sharing of the governing cake” or amnestying crime and corruption were concerned, therefore it will be a major test for the Prosecution to touch the untouchables,” writes this daily.
