Mustafa: EU prepares agenda of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue (RTK)

In an interview for RTK, Isa Mustafa, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, said the establishment of the special court for war crimes will be a serious challenge but one that would remove once and for doubts about certain individuals in Kosovo. “I think it will be unpleasant, but at the same time a very good opportunity to cast away doubts over some people, not over the Kosovo Liberation Army. This will also help Kosovo eliminate problems with the international community regarding such doubts,” he said. Mustafa said he will meet his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic, in late January or early February next year. He also said that the agenda of dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade is prepared by the European Union.

Minority communities will determine Thaci’s election as President (Tribuna)

According to the paper, Hashim Thaci, leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), might not get enough votes from PDK and Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MPs when he will try to become President of Kosovo in 2016. Therefore, the votes of minority MPs are most probably going to determine if Thaci will be elected to the post.

Kurti: Kosovo has three Prime Ministers (Gazeta Blic)

Albin Kurti, the leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, in an interview for RTV21 on Friday, said that Kosovo has three Prime Ministers: Isa Mustafa from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Hashim Thaci from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and Aleksandar Vucic through the Serbian List. “This will make Kosovo dysfunctional similar to post-war Bosnia,” he said. Kurti also said that the former opposition bloc was created because the LDK and Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) needed Vetevendosje’s votes. “If they had enough votes in Parliament, they would have never called us,” Kurti added.
