Koha online has published the press release of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor which notes that “regarding the recently published report of the independent expert, Jean-Paul Jacqué, the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor would like to thank Mr. Jacqué, for his work and efforts. At the same time there is a need to emphasize that the named report did not take any stance whether there was or was not any corruption inside the EULEX mission.
Current suspicions are being investigated by the Independent Task Force, which is a mixed team, composed of Kosovo Prosecutors and Police and EULEX. Task Force is working under the umbrella of the Office of Chief State Prosecutor.
Office of Chief State Prosecutor would like to use this opportunity to inform the public as well as to appeal to international community and citizens of the Republic of Kosovo for further support of the work of the named Task Force in the hard work of theirs, by providing information more actively, by responding to different requests promptly, in order to solve this matter based on the Law.”
