Civic Initiative SDP Olvier Ivanovic communicated that the Court of Appeal in Pristina has once more defeated law and justice with its latest decision not to allow CE SDP leader Oliver Ivanovic to be released pending the court decision and to re-instate detention to Aleksandar Lazovic and Nebojsa Vujacic,.
CI SDP further communicated that obvious intention of the court, at the moment when sentences were rendered to Drenica group, and when creation of the special court for Kosovo Liberation Army crimes is postponed, is to mitigate dissatisfaction amongst Albanians to the detriment of indicted Serbs.
CI SDP added that the decision of the mono-ethnic Court of Appeal was expected, however behavior of EULEX is shameful because they are not able to resist to influence of Kosovo institutions and extremists amongst their ranks.
Lazovic and Vujacic are indicted, along with the leader of the CI SDP Oliver Ivanovic, Dragoljub Delibasis and Ilija Vujacic for committing aggravated crimes against Albanian civilians in Mitrovica in 2000.
