Citing unnamed international sources, the news site reports that Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga enjoys great support to have another mandate in office. “The Americans want to keep Jahjaga as President of Kosovo for another mandate. In fact, they’re already working on this,” the international source said. He also argued that international officials do not support Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) leader Hashim Thaci in his bid for President of Kosovo, although the December 2015 agreement between the PDK and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) foresaw that LDK leader Isa Mustafa would get the post of Prime Minister and that Thaci would get the post of president after Jahjaga’s mandate expires.
