Three members of the Islamic State (F.B, I.F. and S. L.) were arrested in Kosovo on suspicion of plotting terrorist attacks in Serbia.
As reported by Alo daily, Kosovo police detained the returnees from the war zone in Syria (F. B, I.F and S. L.) and filed criminal charges against them due to their link with the Islamic state.
They were remanded in custody because of the formation of Islamic state cells in Kosovo.
The arrested persons lived in Pristina/Prishtine, Urosevac/Ferizaj and Gnjilane/Gjilan.
F.B., who was in Syria from February until December last year, had the most experience in warfare.
“He was first in practical and theoretical training, and then he was given a weapon and sent to the front lines. Later he got promoted to leader of a combat unit, which had 11 members mainly from Kosovo,” said a source from the Kosovo Special Prosecutor’s Office.
