The Deputy Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Dušan Kozarev, yesterday met with the delegations of students from Pristina University, with the seat in North Mitrovica, and Belgrade University.

The main topic of discussion was ‘the importance of intensification of communication between young cadres who present the corner stone for survival of Serbian nation and state of Serbia in Kosovo’. Kozarev said that there is plenty of room for state’s support, as well as to students’ initiatives aimed at making links, from recreation to scientific-education and entrepreneurship.

Kozarev also briefed students about the negotiation process in Brussels, which is carried ‘with the goal to protect the interests of our citizens in the province’ and stressed that ‘Community of Serb-majority Municipalities will fully rely on young and educated people,” reads a communique from the Office.

The goal of this meeting was to launch the cooperation of students from two universities, as well as to attract graduated students from Serbia proper to Kosovo, adds the communique.
