Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency director Hasan Preteni sent a letter to Kosovo’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Petrit Selimi, saying that holding the post of the deputy minister and coordinator of Millennium Corporation Challenges constitutes a conflict of interest. In his letter, Preteni recalls that Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest provides that “public officials cannot be managers or members of the management bodies in non-profit organizations.” “Therefore, to avoid this situation, the Anti-Corruption Agency recommends to choose one of these two functions,” Preteni said.
