The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, said that relations between Serbia and Albania are good, however the biggest problem between two states remain their position on the status of Kosovo.

“Non-recognition of Kosovo is a sign that there is no readiness for the open facing with the past and the future,” said Rama in his interview to the Belgrade-based daily Večernje Novosti.

He assessed that Serbia and Kosovo have established better relations. “This was achieved thanks to the leadership of Aleksandar Vučić, and on the other side Hashim Thaçi, Ista Mustafa and others, who enabled progress in the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo,” Rama said.

He also said that Serbia and Albania today work together, trade between themselves and agree about what is the best for their nations.
