The Mayor of Mitrovica North, Goran Rakić, and the executive head of the municipal administration, Adrijana Hodžić, met with the head of UNMK Zahir Tanin and his team. The main goal of the visit of UNMIK’s head was introduction with the current situation in Mitrovica North Municipality.
Rakić and Hodžić informed UNMIK delegation with the current security and economic situation, and needs of the citizens. Particular attention was focused on the problems with regard to issuance of documentation by the Center for Citizens’ Services, which operates under the department of municipal administration.
The head of UNMIIK expressed his interest in assisting the local self-government in finding solutions for current technical difficulties they are faced with.
