The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK,) Ramush Haradinaj said that the campaign of the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, the Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, and Assembly President Kadri Veseli to impose voting for the demarcation of the border with Montenegro, is a flagrant violation of the Constitution. He stressed that Article 70 and the first paragraph of Article 74, of the Constitution of Kosovo assure that no pressure can be exercised toward the MPs, that there is no obligatory mandate, that MPs represent sovereignty and they vote based on the Constitution, Laws and Assembly Regulation. “Powers in Kosovo are divided and Kosovo is not a Monarchy, therefore, return to your matters and do not pressure MPs. There have always been individuals in this country who for money and their personal interests were capable to sell even their own father, mother, but majority always supported Kosovo. Kosovo MPs did not obey to blackmails even during Milosevic’s time and they knew how to initiate grounds of this republic even under siege,” Haradinaj said.
