Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić cancelled participation in the seminar of NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Pristina because at that time he will be at the session of the national and provincial governments in Novi Sad.

As previously RTK reported, Đurić has cancelled participation in this seminar because the invitation had been sent with the name of his function without the word “Metohija”.

From the Office for Kosovo and Metohija state that the invitation, to participate in Rouz – Rout seminar in Pristina, on 22 October, had the Đurić’s function written as it is, as Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, and that NATO has sent an invitation as an organizer, through the MFA, and not Pristina.

The Office emphasize that yesterday, via the MFS, Đurić’s participation was cancelled, and in a letter was stated that he will not be able to attend the meeting due to unforeseen and important obligations that he has over that weekend.

They add that the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija cannot be tomorrow in the southern province because he will be in the northern, in Novi Sad at the joint session of the national and provincial governments.
