The future of Trepča is an important issue that should be addressed in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, believes the head of the European Parliament delegation for relations with Serbia Eduard Kukan, who hopes that Serbia will soon open new negotiating chapters with the EU.
Speaking to Večernje Novosti about talks he had with the Vice President of the Kosovo Government Branimir Stojanović about Trepča, he says that Stojanović explained his stance, but he needed to hear the position of all the partners, so he could have a final opinion.
“Therefore, I will not now pronounce final conclusions, but this is an important issue. It should be definitely a part of the general talks between Belgrade and Pristina,” said Kukan.
