North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakić said today that the main bridge in Mitrovica will not be open until the end of this year.
“The theme of Apostolova’s visit today was not revitalization and opening of the bridge, and in her address to the public, the date is mentioned, about the official opening of the bridge, for which I can assure you that will not be until the end of this year,” said Rakić in a statement.
A precondition for this is to build a pedestrian zone in the part of the street of King Peter, as well as administrative demarcation between the Municipality of North and South Mitrovica, said the mayor in a statement.
