Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić said that workers of Trepča can count on any kind of support of the Government of Serbia.
He added that Kosovo’s Trepča Act does not have any legal effect because it was annulled by the decision of the Government of Serbia.
During his visit to Trepča miners in Leposavić/Leposaviq, Đurić has conveyed the message that Trepča can count on the support of the Government of Serbia, not only a political but also the legal and financial support.
“It is our obligation which we will fulfil; we will enable Trepča to continue to function. And that’s the most important message – Trepča can count on Serbia, the Serbian government, politically, legally, economically and any other way, if needed,” said Đurić.
