Municipal leadership of Zubin Potok, on the occasion of arrogant-destructive manners of Kosovo government, strongly expressed their protest and have given the last warning to the authorities in Pristina before the total rupture of relations, said the leadership of the municipality of Zubin Potok.

The integration of civil protection in northern Kosovo into Kosovo institutions was supposed to be one of the first real indicators of implementation of the Brussels agreement, but also a show of good will and desire for compromise both the Government of Serbia, and municipal leaderships of the northern municipalities.

The Kosovo government has not complied with the agreement and did not fully implement the aforesaid process of integration of members of the now disbanded civil protection.

In addition to this problem, it is stated that the Government of Kosovo on countless occasions violated the Brussels agreement and shown inconsistency in the agreements reached and deliberately, to the detriment of the inhabitants of northern Kosovo, implemented the policy of hostility, intolerance and lack of understanding to the limits of extreme discrimination. Postponement of execution, constant reduction of funds for capital investment and obstruction of payments to the fund for the north are just a few in a series of political pressure and blackmail carried out by the Kosovo government.

Because of this, Zubin Potok leadership expressed protest and gave the final warning before a total rupture of relations.

The statement also calls on the international factor in Kosovo to invest their power and authority in order to preserve peace and stability in the north of Kosovo.

In the statement, the MA Zubin Potok invited other municipalities in the north to sympathize with this communication in order to avoid chaos, anarchy and possibly violence.
