Schwendiman meets Kosovo chief prosecutor Lumezi (Koha)

The chief prosecutor of the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office, David Schwendiman, met today in Pristina Kosovo’s chief prosecutor, Aleksander Lumezi. The prosecutors discussed the organization, functions, power and jurisdiction of the Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office. Also, during the meeting they discussed the cooperation between the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office and Kosovo’s Special Prosecution Office (SPRK). Lumezi, stressing his readiness to contribute in order to strengthen the rule of law in Kosovo, offered Schwendiman full cooperation from his side, adding that prosecutors from the SPRK will offer cooperation to the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office, whenever that will be necessary for the development of the investigation and prosecution of persons suspected of committing crimes within the subject jurisdiction of Specialist Chambers.
