Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government in Kosovo Ljubomir Marić was dismissed by the decision of Isa Mustafa, on a proposal from representatives of the Serbian List, say sources close to the Pristina authorities, reports portal KomentarPress.net.
On the other hand, the authorities in Belgrade say Ljubomir Marić was dismissed against the wishes of Serbian representative in Kosovo.
Marko Đurić does not hide the suspicion that some representatives of the Serbs in Kosovo have agreed Marić’s dismissal with Isa Mustafa.
The Coalition of displaced persons from Kosovo and Metohija does not hide disappointment and say that must be clarified all uncertainties about Marić’s dismissal.
The political crisis in Kosovo, with the participation of Serbian politicians from Kosovo, is not good for the position of Serbs in the province and for the negotiating position of the Government of the Republic of Serbia in the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina. It is necessary to clarify whether any of the Serbian politicians conferred with Isa Mustafa on the dismissal of Ljubomir Marić or it is a lie of the Pristina authorities, which aims at the division of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. If it was done by someone from Serbian politicians then a message was sent to displaced persons from Kosovo that they have an insurmountable obstacle for the return on the Serbian side, not only on the Albanian – said Miloš Stojković, president of the Coalition of displaced persons from KiM.
