Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija urges political representatives of the Serbs to revoke the decision, who on behalf of the Serbian nation have participated together with Thaçi and Mustafa in dismissal of the legitimate Serbian representative because of very little authority and at a time when the Serbian ministers and officials froze their participation in provincial institutions.
Đurić said this to Večernje Novosti daily on Sunday.
Đurić also called Mirjana Jevtić not to accept the appointment to Marić’s function, who until recently was Assistant Minister of Labour and Social Welfare.
– Marić was dismissed against the wishes of Serbian representative in Kosovo and he did his job well. Serbian representatives should discuss how to solve the problems, and not to make arrangements behind the scenes with the Albanians. I urge Jevtić not to accept the appointment – said Đurić.
Unofficially, Marić’s dismissal was associated with disagreement or tensions that prevail in the Serbian list; more precisely, the continuation of disagreement between the SNS and the Movement of Socialists on one side with SLS on the other side.
