Ranilug Mayor Gradimir Mikić says that the municipality will comply with the agreement with the Office for Kosovo and Metohija about the start of formation of the Community/Association of Serb municipalities (ZSO) by the political leaders of Serbs from Kosovo on 15 February by their own initiative, if it occurs.
-All this time we’ve been waiting for realization of what was signed and agreed in Brussels and that ZSO starts functioning. We’ll wait further, until Sretenje, and if there is no will for the Community to be formed, and it’s clear that there is none, and then we will establish it ourselves. All activities that will be undertaken will be agreed in the meantime. What I can say is that the formation of the ZSO is not directed against anyone and frankly I do not know what will be the reaction of Pristina. I think it would still be the best if the Kosovo government bring the act on its establishing – said Ranilug Mayor Gradimir Mikić.
The municipality of Ranilug, located in the extreme east of Kosovo, is one of the ten with the Serbian majority. Here almost 98% of the population make the Serbian population.
