Serbian investigators in the supplement to the investigation of war crimes charged Ramush Haradinaj for another 13 victims, including children, Blic reports.

Although he was tried in The Hague for a period in 1998, the majority of the witnesses, according to the assessment of the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office, was intimidated and did not testify. Many witnesses were killed.

The former KLA commander for the Dukagjini (Metohija), who was released after being arrested in France, according to testimonies of 30 new witnesses, has killed some of the 13 victims. He ordered, as evidenced by survivors and his comrades, who are now in the witness protection program, the closure of children in the corral, where they have been kept for days. Among them, in June 1999, was a baby younger than one year. Haradinaj’s comrades have thrown the baby the wall of improvised prison, which is why the victim is permanently paralyzed. The crimes with which Serbia charged Haradinaj are from June 1999, while he was tried by the Hague tribunal for the crimes in 1998; in 2012 he was released.

According to witnesses, former members of the KLA, Hardinaj usually ordered liquidations with the words: “Take them to bac-Adem”. “Bac” is a term of respect, but Adem refers to the already murdered KLA commander Adem Jashari.

Haradinaj, according to testimony gathered by the Serbian investigators, personally raped more victims, among whom were girls.

Witnesses described gruesome torture of civilians in the hotel “Paštrik”, where the makeshift prison was located, wherein participated and Haradinaj.

Protected witness “81” this type of torture described in the Hague trial of Haradinaj, Idriz Balaj and Lahi Brahimaj. Victims were tortured the same way and in the Jablanica camp in 1998.

The victims of Haradinaj and his comrades were Serbs, Roma and Albanians who did not support the KLA. So at the end of 1999, they kidnapped Vesel Murisi and four Albanians who were thereafter kept closed in a building in Peć. Vesel Murisi has managed to escape, while the rest were shot. Their bodies were thrown into the river Beli Drim, and among the victims was also Džafer Đuka.

Serbian institutions now insist on the evidence relating to the 1999, because Haradinaj defends himself with the fact that he has already been tried and was acquitted.
