Session of the Municipal Assembly of North Mitrovica, which was supposed to be held today, was postponed based on the request of the councillors of the Serbian List, says the press release.
“At a time when someone wants to cause the fear among Serbs in Northern Kosovo and Metohija, by using long guns and demonstration of force, there are no conditions for the normal functioning of institutions and them dealing with any topic, when the situation imposes primarily the fight for the respect of fundamental human rights such as the right to life, work, freedom of movement and settlement.”
“The Serbian List remains committed to the calming of tensions and improvement of lives of citizens, but also to the fight for the respect of individual and collective rights of Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija” said a statement of the Chairperson of North Mitrovica Municipal Assembly Dejan Gurešić.
