Kosovo plans to consider redefining the format of dialogue with Serbia, Kosovo government officials said. Spokesperson Faton Abdullahu said that to be a factor of stability and pursue policies for normalizing relations with its neighbours, Kosovo needs to engage in dialogue. However, Abdullahu noted the recent “provoking” actions from Serbia lead the government to consider its approach to dialogue. “Elements of this nature force us, as Kosovo, to rethink about redefining of the dialogue’s format,” Abdullahu said adding that the policy Kosovo has used for far in talks with Serbia has been damaging. “We have been very constructive so far. We want the European Union to realize with what kind of a new, delinquent, Serbia we are facing and help us redefine this dialogue,” Abullahu noted.
