Deputy Leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Haki Rugova, said that continuous provocations from the Serbian state could be avoided only by political wisdom and cooperation between the government and opposition.  He said that support of the international friends is also required. He praised PM Mustafa for managing the situation with the train from Serbia.

“I liked the manner of PM Mustafa’s approach, he was quite serious and demonstrated how the state should be managed, and how to reflect in the moments of crises,” Rogova said.

“We should commence our duties. We should not be threatening anyone. We should be serious in our statements. Both the government and the opposition should have joint position with regards to the defense and consolidation of the state,” he said.

Speaking about Haradinaj’s arrest in France, Rugova said that he is dissatisfied with it. “The manner of the arrest is part of Serbia’s games. I think that his detention is illegal. Others should not be arresting our people,” he said.

Except for the train and Haradinaj’s arrest, the Serbian state has announced to unilaterally establish the Association of the Serb-majority municipalities on 15 February.
