The Mayor of Mitrovica North, Goran Rakić, announced the start of construction of the new, stronger, concrete support construction in the vicinity of the place where previous construction was turned down yesterday.
“Taking into account that safety of residents is the priority, I would like to announce that Mitrovica North Municipality will start on 7 February the construction of a new, stronger concrete support construction, which will be 70 centimeters high and 120 centimeters wide, and which guarantee safety to residents of Mitrovica North,” reads Rakić’s statement. He also thanked residents for their patience and strong support during negotiations over the wall.
