Unknown perpetrators have broken into and robbed the Serbian Orthodox church dedicated to “St. Petka” in the village of Drsnik, near Klina municipality in Kosovo.

The incident took place in the night between Saturday and Sunday, Tanjug reported on Monday. In order to get in, the thieves have broken the church’s metal door. They stole the money that churchgoers left as donations next to the icons, what is the Serbian Orthodox custom – and also ransacked the shrine. This was the tenth time that the church in Drsnik has been the target of burglars.

The incident has been reported to the Kosovo Police.
