Premises of the Association of the Serbian-Russian friendship “Grigorija Stepanovič Ščerbina”, shared with the National movement “Otadžbina” (Fatherland) and the MP in the Serbian Parliament, Slaviša Ristić, have been completely burnt in a fire that broke out this morning.
The fire broke out around 03:00 this morning at the ground floor of the building. Kosovo Police responded to the scene and reported that the cause of fire remains unknown, however they suspect that it was caused by the malfunctioning electric heater, whereas the representatives of the Association suspect that the fire was set. The fire caused the panic among the upper floor residents who were evacuated from the building.
The MP Slaviša Ristić who uses occasionally the premises stated this morning that he suspects that this was a message for him, as well as to Marko Jakšić, who couple days ago published an article criticizing the Serbian Government with regard to recent developments in Mitrovica North.
