President of the local community in Suvi Do/Suhodoll Mićo Kragović says that the Albanians have set up the street signs late the night before.

He adds that the Serbs from this village are outraged and very upset by this move of neighbours and perceive this as pressure and the first step towards the ethnic cleansing of Serbs from this village, which, as he points out, for years are struggling to survive despite many pressures.

“We have informed the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the representatives of local self-government in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, police, and UNMIK and influential embassies. We are determined not to allow expelling,” said Kragović.

In this part of Suvi Do/Suhidoll, completely surrounded by Albanians, live about seventy Serbian families.

The village by geographical position belongs to Northern Mitrovica and the Albanians for years are trying to merge Suvi Do/Suhidoll with South Mitrovica that falls under the jurisdiction of the Albanians.
