Director of the office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić reacted to the opposition of certain Albanian politicians in Pristina to the holding of Serbian presidential elections in Kosovo, and cautioned on yet another in a series of attacks on the rights of the Serb population.
“Leading Albanian politicians in Kosovo and in the region officially have put on the table an expansionist and chauvinist Greater Albania platform. One of its characteristics is the effort to narrow or abolish elementary political, economic and other rights of our people in Kosovo,” Đurić said in a statement posted on his Facebook page.
The announcements of the Albanian opposition in Pristina that would interfere with the electoral process in Kosovo, Ðurić sees a clear link to the joint operation of the parties and candidates in other parts of Serbia who openly wish and propagate Ukrainian and FYROM scenario in our country.
