Several news websites report that the Kosovo Assembly Presidency has postponed its meeting due to lack of quorum on decision-making. “Due to the lack of quorum on decision-making, we are postponing the meeting of the Assembly Presidency for another day, because some of our colleagues are not in the country,” Assembly President Kadri Veseli is quoted as saying. Pal Lekaj, head of the parliamentary group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), posted on his Facebook account that “today’s lack of quorum is another indicator that the country is facing its biggest blockade in the postwar period”. Lekaj further argued that Kosovo needs to go to early parliamentary elections as soon as possible.
