Provincial Board of the Socialist Party of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija harshly condemned the roadblocks placed against those who were en route to Leposavić/Leposaviq.
According to the statement, all of the roads south of the Ibar River are blocked by the provisional institutions of Kosovo and Kosovo Police Service in order to prevent the departure of Serbs to the rally of the ruling coalition in Leposavić/Leposaviq, for the presidential candidate Aleksandar Vučić, which represents a gross violation of basic human rights as well as the right to freedom of movement.
“Hereby, the Provincial Committee of the Socialist Party of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija informs the international public and their representatives in Pristina to react immediately and allow freedom of movement throughout the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.”
“Such moves and such acts will not deter us from participating on Sunday 2 April in the elections en masse and vote for our presidential candidate Aleksandar Vučić” said in the press release.
