The Kosovo Assembly adopted today the agreement on the establishment of the Western Balkans Fund. 89 MPs voted in favor and two voted against the agreement. The Western Balkans Fund will be based in Tirana. After the agreement was adopted, MPs also adopted a three-point statement: 1. The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo recognizes Kosovo only based on its constitutional name as the Republic of Kosovo; 2. In line with Article 18 of the Constitution, all international agreements are ratified by a law that refers to Kosovo according to its constitutional name; 3. This Statement will be attached to every international agreement that is ratified in the Assembly.
