Valdete Daka, chairwoman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), told Ekonomia Online that the CEC is ready to organize elections whenever they are announced. “The CEC is the only institution that organizes elections, this is our constitutional obligation. Whenever elections are announced, be they early or regular elections, local or parliamentary, we will organize them. Certainly it is always more challenging to organize early elections compared to elections that are held in accordance with constitutional timelines,” Daka said.
