The coalition between the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Alternativa and the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) has accused President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci of coming out in support of his former Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) by undertaking a visit to different schools in Kosovo. LDK-AKR-Alternativa called on Thaci to halt such visits until after elections and to stop “interfering with independent institutions in order to create favours for his party – PDK”. No one from Thaci’s office commented on the visits but in a press release, Thaci is said to be planning to visit schools before the end of the school year.
