Several media are reporting that Kosovo Police special units are seen in the streets of the municipality of Leposavic, in the northern part of Kosovo. Besim Hoti, police deputy commander for Mitrovica North, told Klan Kosova that the decision to have special units there was made after recent incidents, including the brawl that former Minister Aleksandar Jablanovic had with some other Kosovo Serbs. “These measures have been taken following the incidents, threats and the current political situation – general elections,” Hoti said.
