Regional Head of Operations of the Kosovo Police for North told Kontakt Plus radio that the case was opened by order of the prosecutor.

After consultation with the competent prosecutor, against the president of PKS Aleksandar Jablanović were filed criminal charges for unauthorized possession and use of weapons, after yesterday’s incident in Leposavić/Leposaviq.

Aleksandar Jablanović and his wife K. J. were arrested on Sunday night after the incident in Leposavić/Leposaviq in which they were involved.

Jablanović yesterday told reporters in Leposavić/Leposaviq that he has the proper permit for the gun, which he showed to the police, and that his gun accidentally ‘dropped through pant legs’ when he moved away from the place where he and his supporters had ‘verbal clash’ with the activists of the Serbian List .

This party stated yesterday that driver of the leader of the Movement of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) Milan Radojević was attacked during the press conference of  Aleksandar Jablanović, reported KiM radio.

PKS stated that the attack happened in front of Kosovo Police who did not react.

Regional Head of the Kosovo Police Željko Bojić this morning said that Regional Directorate of Police provided assistance to the police station in Leposavić/Leposaviq for the gathering yesterday, but according to the information they have, the police was not in the vicinity of the place  where the incident occurred. He also said that he was informed that the police reacted quickly and prevented a major incident to happen, reported KIM radio.

Bojić pointed that the police currently collects information related to this case.
”The police is collecting some information, and is conducting interviews with potential witnesses. We’re hoping to get more information after the statement is taken from a person who was attacked,” KIM radio reported.
