Publicist Veton Surroi, in a Facebook post, commented on the results of the 11 June parliamentary elections. “Yesterday we witnessed a European vote by the people of Kosovo. The majority of the citizens of Kosovo, led by the spirit of principle and determination of Vetevendosje, declared themselves in favor of liberating the country from the Pronto Clan. Over half of the seats in Kosovo’s Parliament will be filled by MPs of a European social-democratic party and a European conservative party or coalition. A European governance can be built from these elections with the primary focus on a lawful, social and development state,” Surroi wrote.
