Blerim Latifi, advisor to PDK leader and former Assembly President Kadri Veseli, told the news website that the coalition consisting of the PDK, AAK and Nisma (PAN) will form the new government, “but in order for this to happen, politicians must abandon egocentric ideas just as Kadri Veseli has done”. Latifi argued that the PDK paid the price of being in power for a long time and also the cost of the Isa Mustafa government “who failed to move a single process forward and allowed the opposition to play its game for two years in a row”. Latifi commented on Vetevendosje’s results in the 11 June elections. “It is their right to experience feelings of victory. Feelings are free. We live in the Balkans and for centuries there has been a tradition of experiencing losses as victories, but the reality is different. We need to abandon logic and mathematics to be able to say that 35 percent is less than 27 percent,” Latifi said.
