Vetevendosje’s Rexhep Selimi in an interview to the news website said that his party is the biggest parliamentary entity and that they are ready to form a new government. “It is now evident. The Vetevendosje Movement is the biggest parliamentary party. It has a number of MPs that gives it advantage over every other political party. We are ready to assume the mandate for our candidate for Prime Minister and to form a new government. If the winning coalition (PAN) cannot secure enough votes to form a government, the second biggest party should have the right to do so. The second biggest party is the Vetevendosje Movement and its partners in government. We are comfortable with numbers and time. We are also ready to form a new government,” he said. Selimi said Vetevendosje will not cooperate with the PDK and the Serbian List either now or in the future, and that all other political parties can be partners with Vetevendosje in forming a new government. “Any partner that does not support PAN, and the Serbian List, can be our partners … Cooperation with the LDK is a logical step. We will not cooperate with the PDK and the Serbian List, for obviously different reasons. We believe the PDK is responsible for all the bad governance in Kosovo. And we will not cooperate with the Serbian List because it does not represent the interests of the people of Kosovo,” he added.
