Chairman of the Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun said today to TV Pink that, by organizing an informal meeting of the President of Serbia and Kosovo, EU High Representative Federica Mogherini has sent a message to the Kosovo Albanians that they cannot give up the Brussels process and the implementation of the deal.
Drecun told TV Pink that political representatives of Kosovo Albanians have introduced a dialogue with Belgrade into a “kind of blockade because they do not want to accept the Brussels process and the implementation of the agreed.”
According to Drecun, today’s meeting of Aleksandar Vučić and Hashim Thaçi is an attempt by the EU High Representative to revive the Brussels Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
– The meeting will not solve anything concrete, but Mogherini sends a message to Albanian political actors, regardless of who will make the government in Pristina, that they cannot give up the Brussels process and what has been agreed there – Drecun said.
