Fatmir Limaj, leader of the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA), told the news agency that Ramush Haradinaj, the candidate of the PDK-AAK-NISMA [PAN] coalition that won the biggest number of the votes in the 11 June parliamentary elections, will be the next Prime Minister of Kosovo. Limaj said that “if there are no obstacles along the way” the new assembly and government will be formed this month. “What I can say is that PAN will form the government and I see no other possibility. If you look at the election results they all point to the fact that there is no other choice but for Mr. Haradinaj to be the new Prime Minister of Kosovo … We are in the initial phase of consultations to form a majority in parliament. You should not forget that this coalition does not need many votes to have a majority or to vote in favor of the government,” Limaj said.
