Memli Krasniqi, deputy leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), told the news website that Ramush Haradinaj, the candidate for Prime Minister from the PDK-AAK-NISMA (PAN) coalition, will form the new government. Krasniqi said the ruling of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo in 2014 makes it clear who has the right to form a new government. He also said that several MPs outside the PAN coalition have pledged to vote in favor of Haradinaj’s candidacy. “It would not be fair to say whose these MPs are. Among representatives of parties that did not win the elections, there are MPs that put the interests of the state above everything else and they acknowledge our joint commitment to unblock the situation,” Krasniqi said.
