Today, 21 July 2017, an international prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of Kosovo, has filed charges at the Department for Serious Crimes of the Basic Court in Pristina, against four defendants accused for aggravated murder of two UNMIK Officers and the attempted murder of two other UNMIK Officers occurred on 23 March 2004.
“In this investigation, an operation involving arrests and searches took place on 6 July 2017. Three of the defendants were arrested and remain in Detention on Remand, whereas the fourth defendant is currently serving imprisonment sentences for previous murders and other criminal offences,” notes the press release issued by Kosovo’s State Prosecutor.
